1) T-Ball and Pee Wee Divisions must have at least 1 manager on their roster with a background check. All other teams should have at least 1 manager and 1-2 coaches listed on roster with a background check. Background check fee is $12.00/person (black forms included for coaches who have not completed one yet- see Registration Page for form to download)
2) At least 1 manager or coach with background check is required as team representative at all ASL games. A parent or guardian for each child is required at all practices and games for t-ball and pee wee divisions.

5) Rainout procedures: A team representative (manager or coach) must report to fields where game is scheduled between 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. to reschedule rainout games.
6) Rescheduling of games due to conflict: A team representative (Manager or Coach) must contact the other team's coach/manager and both team representatives must meet with the scheduler of the organization that the game is scheduled to be played at to reschedule a game.
7) It is the manager/coaches responsibility to notify players and parents of rainout games, reschedule dates, team picture date and time, and any other association activity.
8) ABSA plans several activities throughout the year that we encourage all teams to participate in. Money generated from these activities help to maintain the fields and purchase new equipment.
9) Each team is responsible for turning in a basket of items to be raffled off at our Bulldog Days. It is the manager/coaches responsibility to either collect money from players to purchase items for a basket or pick a theme and have each player bring an item/items related to that theme for the team basket. The team basket is due the week of Bulldog Days (by Friday).
10) Our website (www.antoniabaseballsoftball.com) and the glass case at the concession stand is where ABSA posts upcoming events and important information. It is the managers and coaches responsibility to check the case regularly and to encourage players and parents to also check for upcoming events.
11) It is the manager and coaches responsibility to ensure all coaches, players, and parents behave appropriately, and do not bring outside food, drinks, or pets to the fields. Your team's game will be forfeited if these rules are not enforced. Players are allowed to bring water or sports drink. However, spectators are not allowed to bring any outside food or drink to any of the ABSA or ASL game locations.
12) It is mandatory for managers, coaches, or a team representative to attend coaches meetings. Please provide ABSA with the correct contact information so you will be notified of the coaches meeting dates and times.
13) It is the manager and coaches responsibility to order team unifoms, collect money from parents/players for uniforms, and pay for teams uniforms. Antonia Baseball and Softball Association is not an will not be responsble for paying for your teams uniforms.
14) Any questions can be directed to the team coordinators listed below or to the ABSA Officer on Duty during games.
15) ABSA will have an representatives present during games. An Officer on Duty and Chief Umpire will be present during all games. Officer Duty will be wearig a yellow board shirt with ABSA Board printed in red. Chief Umpires will be wearing Blue ASL Umpire shirt. Any game related, disputed call, or umpire questions or complaints should be addressed to the Chief Umpire.
16) Block out calendars included for April through July for coaches to cross off any dates unavailable or conflict for use in scheduling team games. Place a big X in the day that your team cannot play with an explanation of why you can't play on that date. We cannot promise that you will not have a game scheduled on those days, however, we will do the best we can at scheduling to not schedule games on those days. Please limit your block out days to as few as possible.
17) Return the Block out calendars to the concession stand by TBD. If no block out calendars are received from your team, it will be assumed that your team is available for any game dates.
